 George Klepfer (b 3/11/1812 d 9/21/1886) married Rebecca Margaret "Peggy" Snyder.  George was born in Lancaster Co., Pa. and died in Marion Co., Indiana. Rebecca was born in Centre Co., Pa and died in Marion Co., Indiana. They had 7 children.

Nan Rebecca Peak.  She was my grandmother.  She died when I was  four, but I remember clearly times with her at my very young age.

Perry Eugene Abell

 

 Perry Eugene Abell

 Perry E. Abell, a well-known resident of this Merced.  Perry was a native of Erie County Pennsylvania and was a veteran of the Civil War, having served in the Union army under Colonel Benjamin Harrison, and participated in several important engagements of that great struggle.  He was a resident of Merced county and during the greater portion of which time he was engaged in farming.
